I have been trying my absolute hardest not to comment on anything that is reported around Brit Brit, seeing as everyone else has already done so, but I can not hold it out any longer.

IMDB.com reports that according to Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Britney Spears ignored eight random drug requests. The allegations against the troubled pop star were made in an emergency hearing he called in Los Angeles on Thursday to discuss the ongoing custody battle. Neither Brit Brit nor K-Fed appeared in court.

Under the latest ruling, Spears is allowed to see her children three times a week, but must follow an earlier court order to undergo mandatory drug and alcohol tests as well as attend joint parenting sessions with Federline.

Kaplan claims Spears has violated the court drug test order by ignoring eight out of a total of 14 requests. He also told the court, “Mr. Federline doesn’t want to take these children out of their mother’s life, but what are we to do?”

Spears’ new lawyer, Anne Kiley, has defended the star’s actions and said the drug testing procedure “unconstitutional,” claiming a missed test does not indicate a positive one. Kiley also hit back at LA Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon when he said that the early morning requests were not “unreasonable”

Kiley claimed that superstars like Spears were not used to being woken up at 8am, retorting: “You are not a pop star with a number one album, so you don’t know.” If Spears is proved to have violated the drug-testing procedures, she faces having her visitation rights suspended until she follows the court order.

The above retort by Anne Kiley is the reason why I wanted to say something.

It should absolutely not matter if someone is a superstar or not. If you have been given court orders to randomly be tested for drugs and alcohol then you should be able to live up to that; be it at 8am in the morning or 8pm in the evening.

Unless someone was on their deathbed, or other serious things which makes someone unable to undergo a test, there is absolutely no excuse on skipping out on a test like this. Especially if you want to be able to see your own children. Anne Kiley’s claims of Britney being a super star and not used to be woken up at 8 and thus not being able to do the test are absolutely ridiculous.
