Sarah Michelle Gellar has been chosen as Woman Of The Year… by Maxim; yes, I had a hard time believing it too. Chosen as Woman of the Year is one thing, but chosen by Maxim of all magazines?

The reason why she decided to do the cover?

“I’m 30, and I’m promoting a bunch of different kinds of movies. I like to shake things up every once in a while. It’s good to leave people wanting more, but I don’t want to leave them waiting too long or they’ll lose interest. Besides, how could I not do a Maxim shoot when I have a movie coming out in which I play a porn star?”

That is not a reason; that is a cry for attention if you ask me. Remember Me? Yes we remember you, how could we not. You’re Buffy, uh… Sarah. Point is, we remember.

You were the female empowerment example for young and old alike; then you go and beat it down with a move like this, telling young women everywhere that if you do not want to be forgotten, you need to take your clothes off.

I will be the first to admit it; at thirty she still looks amazing, but for Sarah to sex it up; she needs to sex it down. She looks more pained than sexy, and please, that pout is so overrated.

I find it incredibly sad that role models like Sarah give off the message that posing for a magazine like this will help their careers.
