Rat Poison Soup Kills Six in China
You’re hot, you’re overworked and trying to get the perfect meal together for clients and accidentally grab the wrong ingredient. It can happen to anyone, I’ve substituted salt for sugar one time; but this beats all.
A cook in China killed himself and five others when he accidentally ’spiced up’ the soup with rat poison.
The cook, Chen Ruyan, had a rat poison selling business on the side and grabbed the rat poison instead of the flower for his rice dumpling soup to make the rice dough less watery.
