The portrait of a future King
On December 5th a new portrait of our future King was presented. And by our I mean the future King of the Dutch Royal family. A very special Royal portrait for that matter, made by an artist known as Henk Schiffmacher, who might be better known for his tattoo art.
And this time it is no different, though this time he did not use his tattoo equipment but a computer. Resulting in this very interesting portrait:
It is a compilation of apparently different people and all the tattoos have something to do with either the Netherlands, the history of the Netherlands, the Royal family in general or his wife and three girls.
The RVD reacted to the portrait and said that the future King Willem Alexander had said that the only thing that was off about the portrait where his swim pants. That is a pretty cool reaction especially from a member of a Royal family.

The director-general and the deputy director-general of the RVD act as press secretaries to the Queen and the other members of the Royal House.
