Miley Cyrus inappropriately in headlines again.
Adding yet another ‘what the f’ moment to her list, Miley Cyrus and dad Billy Ray Cyrus were caught not wearing seat belts in a scene of her new movie Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert Tour. Miley and Dad have since then apologized for the mishap “We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seatbelts. Seatbelt safety is extremely important.”
The Queen of Soul lashes out at the Queen
The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, lashed out at Beyoncé for calling Tina Turner ‘The Queen’ during her introduction of Tina on the Grammy Awards Broadcast.
“I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé,” Franklin said in a statement issued by her publicist. “However, I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy.”
Eh? Who’s stepping on who’s toes here? I think this might be a case of an overgrown ego. Beyonce didn’t even say ‘Queen of Soul’ she simply introduced Miss Tina as ‘The Queen’. Check it out for yourself.
Listen to this: Mandy Moore
I just got a little taste of Mandy Moore’s song Gardenia off her new album Wild Hope and I got chills. Good chills. I like Mandy Moore, she’s one of the few artists that stays true and down to earth (from what I’ve seen). The song is co-written by Mandy and Chantal Kreviazuk, who has co-written numerous songs for other artists.
Listen to it below.
Is it really over now?
It seems that after three grueling months with no good television the WGA strike may finally be over. WGA leades have approved a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, and have ordered their allies to end the picketing at once.
Thank god I say. I don’t know how much longer I could have gone on DVD reruns. I didn’t even start on the reality shows, now that is addiction I really didn’t want to get into.
That’s Hot! Absolutely NOT!
Paris Hilton on the L Word. Really now. The only good thing about that is the possibility of a sixth season of the L Word. Which is not even secured yet. Though viewer percentage went up by 20% this season, there has yet to be an official announcement that there will be a sixth season.
I say again; Paris Hilton, really now? What the hell are they hoping to accomplish with that? Well except maybe have that 20% drop again with the next season. Who cares about Paris Hilton. I certainly don’t and I know of a couple more who don’t give a damn if Paris is on the show. Unless you need some blond girl to stand around and say ‘That’s Hot’ all the time I really don’t see why they would even consider having her on the show.
Before we forget
Our personal favorite Nikki Kerkhof has quite the fan base. Not only did her official site get a complete make-over, but a fan site has been brought to life as well.
Speaking of Nikki, be sure to check back Saturday for a review of the 9th Dutch Idols Live Show. This weeks theme is Jazz!
