Despite Britney’s latest drive on the somewhat right track; Britney is still not allowed to see her kids. Britney has been going around looking better, healthier, happier and somewhat saner then she has been for the past couple of months.

update: Kevin Federline has allowed Britney Spears to visit her sons. Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said in a statement Friday that the former couple has agreed to a modification of a court order that had stripped Spears of her visitation rights.

But on a somewhat good note; Osama Lutfi has finally been slapped with that restraining order. He is not allowed to go near Brit Brit. It seems that the restraining order is not his first one; ABC News reports that “accusations in at least three prior orders range from obscene messages following a business deal to a neighbor who said he was hounded incessantly and threatened with bodily harm.”

I say good riddance. Guy freaked me out. As does butt boy Adnan. Now let’s hope Britney stays on the path of recovery.

Baby News! - Jennifer Lopez gives birth to twins.

J.Lo gave birth to her twins on Friday with the 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arriving first, followed by her 6-pound brother, according to reports, 11 minutes later. Jennifer Lopez’ representative Simon Fields told People magazine that the babies arrived shortly after midnight.

“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,” Fields told the magazine.

Jennifer’s father officially confirmed that the singer was having twins just this month.

Congrats!

Another health scare amongst celebrities

Ashton Kutcher celebrated his 30th birthday at New York’s Socialista club, but that drinking and dancing and fun times may not be the thing they will remember most of it. The New York City Health Department warned the celebrities, Madonna, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis amongst others, that a barman who was working there has Hepatitis.

Unfortunately not only the A-Listers on Feb 7 are at risk; the barman worked three nights at the venue when he was infectious with Hepatitis A. The celebrities were urged to get a Hep. shot as soon as possible.

Only a year ago, several other celebrities had a same scare at Wolfgang Puck’s catering when a sick member of the staff inadvertently exposed stars including Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant.

And just this February, Beyonce Knowles and model stars of the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue were urged to get health checks after attending another Puck party which featured the same Hep. A carrier among the catering staff.

The 2008 Brit Awards… And Winehouse showed up

Say what you will about Amy Winehouse (I sure have), but now that the woman is actually in Rehab (yes yes yes) and doing slightly better and has the opportunity, will actually show up for an event! Winehouse showed up at the 2008 Brit Awards, performed a song and I still could only understand half of what she was saying. I guess that is a step up from previous performances though; I couldn’t understand anything then.

Favorite Adele took home the critics choice award. I have to say that I could not agree more. I adore her voice and love her song ‘Chasing Pavements’.

Feels Like Home

I have recently fallen in love with the song Feels Like Home, but not the Chantal Kreviazuk version nor the original Randy Newman version, but the Edwina Hayes version.

Edwina Hayes is an amazingly talented singer/songwriter from Preston, Lancashire, but is based on East coast of Yorkshire since she moved there as a teenager. According to her official site, Edwina divides her time between the UK and America and calls Nashville her second home where she is “a much loved singer and songwriter.”

I absolutely adore her voice, sweet melodic and just the right pick me up after a day of work (not to mention during work to keep going!)

Before we forget

Nikki made it into the semi-finals of Dutch Idols. Only her, Charlene and Nathalie remain. Whomever gets into the finale, it should be one hell of a show. Of course I’m hoping it will be Nikki.
