In the Indian city Gauhati, a man got his arm ripped off by tigers, while his family and dozens of others watched, and bled to death.

This, my friends, is stupidity at its best; the man, identified as 50-year-old Jayaprakash Bezbaruah, avoided zoo safety precautions in an attempt to photograph the two adult Bengal tigers up close.

“The man ignored warnings from keepers, crossed the first barrier and stretched his hand into the enclosure that housed a male and a female tiger,” said Gauhati zoo warden Narayan Mahanta “The animals grabbed his limb and tore it apart at the shoulder. “I have never encountered such a bizarre incident in my 11 years as a wildlife official. It was shocking.”

Bezbaruah, who was visiting the zoo with his wife and children, was rushed to a local hospital but died of blood loss.

Now first, let me say that I do find it upsetting that the man died, a life lost is always a bad thing, but, and here comes the major but, he should have never put his arm inside the cage. Those warning signs are not there for nothing. You are supposed to not come this close to the cage for exactly the reason why this man died.

Though I feel sorry for his family, this man was as stupid as they come. Tigers are wild animals, they’re hauled up in cages and it is their territory. No matter how docile animals seem and no matter how well trained they may have been, they are still wild animals, and wild animals are very dangerous and very territorial.

What the hell was he thinking when he crossed that line, and stuck his hand in their cage? That he was just going to take a quick picture and step back? Moron.

Are people just born stupid or do they think that because there is a fence of some sort between them that the animals won’t attack?
