Naked Baby Bumps

Christina Aguilera bared all, well almost all, in America’s Marie Claire magazine:

Turned out to be quite the surprise for the couple:
“We were planning on starting to try after the tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take. You’ve heard it takes some time — except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here… I’m like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?”

This is by far the first time a celebrity showed off their naked baby bump; Demi Moore, Linda Evangelista and Britney Spears have bared they baby bump before her, albeit in different magazines.

Doctor’s Orders: Winehouse Cancels Tour

This may be the first thing Amy has done that I can applaud her for. The troubled star canceled the remaining part of her U.K tour. She has been struggling during the performances since the beginning; fans reportedly stormed out due to incoherent singing and delayed start times.

Her husband’s incarceration has made Amy unable to perform, the doctors say. In a statement from her record company Universal, Amy, who is also battling a drug problem, said that her recent erratic behavior was caused by the stress of the incarceration of her husband.

Ricki Lake’s Weight Issues were contributed by Sexual Abuse

In an exclusive chat with U.S. news show Access Hollywood, Ricki has said that sexual abuse during her childhood contributed to her weight issues; “I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and I think it contributed. Who knows for sure? I’ve done many years in therapy and worked on all my issues. I didn’t talk about it for, like, 15 or 20 years; I didn’t admit that it had happened to me because I wanted to kind of bury things. It, in some way, made me who I am today… I don’t want to be a poster child for this at all but it’s very weird thing for children when they’re violated in that way. Food became a comfort to me; it was my kind of security blanket.

Ricki Lake said she never confronted her abuser, but that he was “quickly removed” from her life when she finally told her parents about the abuse.

Heroes’ creator: Sorry This Season is A Flop

Tim Kring admits that the recent storylines were a mistake. He told Entertainment Weekly: “We assumed the audience wanted season one - a build up of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake - we took too long to get to the big-picture story.”

I’m still enjoying the episode, but I guess others don’t think that way since audience figures went down and one recent episode placing 30th in overall ratings.
